We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Billing Manager to join our Billing Platform team. This role is located in Manchester

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Oversee the preparation of billing of clients, processing of management fees and paying out of client commission. Understand all processes and procedures and be able to undertake all tasks wherever necessary. Suggest efficiencies and improvements and be able to advise on best practice.
  • Manage the daily process workflow within the team and align team resources accordingly to complete the required tasks.
  • Enforce an effective control environment around the entire billing related processes.
  • Serves as the escalation point for critical team issues and manages through to resolution.
  • Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
  • Manage a team responsible for billing and commissions operations, ensuring adherence to service standards and regulatory requirements by demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, leveraging data-driven insights, AI and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve client issues, utilizing expertise to provide effective solutions.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Proven experience of Billing/Finance Operations processes 

  • Strong controls and process experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management. 

  • Advanced Excel knowledge.

  • Knowledge of AI solutions and capabilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

  • Experience in managing a team is preferrable
