The Vice President of Data and Analytics provides executive leadership for the organizationās enterprise analytics and data governance strategy. This role ensures that clinical, operational, financial, and population health decisions are driven by trusted, wellāgoverned, and actionable data, supporting highāquality care, financial sustainability, and community health outcomes.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Data and Analytics will partner with clinical, quality, finance, compliance, and operational leaders to establish a strong data foundation and analytics culture across Advocates

Enterprise Analytics Leadership
- Lead enterprise analytics strategy spanning clinical, operational, financial, quality, and population health domains.
- Lead evolution to predictive and prescriptive analytics, including artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, development of data products (standardized, reuseable analytics assets), and automation and embedded analytics in workflows
- Deliver executive, board, and serviceāline analytics that support operational and strategic decisionāmaking.
- Promote adoption of analytics through intuitive dashboards and selfāservice tools.
Data Governance & Stewardship
- Establish and lead an enterprise data governance framework and roadmap, including policies, standards, and decision rights.
- Establish governance and standards for the ethical and effective use of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, including model validation, monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
- Chair or coāchair the Data Governance Council with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders.
- Establish data stewardship roles and accountability across domains (services, finance, HR, operations).
Data Quality, Integrity & Trust
- Work with the Quality Management department on data quality management processes, including monitoring, issue resolution, and rootācause analysis.
- Ensure data lineage, transparency, and traceability across enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Resolve data conflicts across departments by enforcing governance standards and definitions.
- Build organizational trust in data through consistency, accuracy, and clear ownership.
Application, Security & Compliance Partnership
- Partner with Compliance, Enterprise Applications, and Information Security to ensure data governance aligns with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
- Work with IT in the definition of appropriate data access controls, usage policies, and auditing practices.
- Support regulatory reporting, audits, and accreditation requirements.
Population Health & Community Impact
- Govern and enable analytics supporting population health, health equity, and community benefit initiatives.
- Integrate clinical, claims, SDOH, and public health data responsibly and ethically.
- Support valueābased care, riskābased contracts, and care management programs.
Platform & Capability Enablement
- Define and govern the enterprise data architecture and analytics ecosystem, in coordination with ITās responsibility for infrastructure, security, and application management.
- Support interoperability and data integration strategies across clinical and business systems.
Leadership & Culture
- Lead and scale a multidisciplinary team including data engineering, business intelligence, data governance, and advanced analytics functions, with responsibility for departmental budget and vendor relationships.
- Foster a culture of data literacy, accountability, and evidenceābased decisionāmaking.
- Educate executives and leaders on data governance principles and responsibilities.

Ā
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in related field and 7- 10 years of experience in data management and reporting.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare analytics, data or decision support
- Demonstrated experience establishing or leading data governance programs
- Strong understanding of healthcare data domains and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills and experience.
- Knowledge and skills in data warehousing, database applications, data extraction methods, reporting, analysis, dashboards/visuals, and self- service data tools.Ā Power BI and Domo a plus.
- Experience in developing and managing data reporting and analytics across a multi- functional organization.
- Experience working with external funders, policy makers and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and design data and reporting systems to meet them.
- Knowledge and experience in the health care, behavioral health and/or social service fields preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to work appropriately with confidential information
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of customer service in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven supervisory and peopleāmanagement skills, including effective delegation and the ability to remain engaged in operational work as needed.
- Must hold a valid driversā license and have access to an automobile to travel between sites.
