We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Product Owner (Accounting) to join our Data & Analytics team. This role is located in Boston.

The Vice President, Product Owner is an integral role within the POM Product Management function, focusing on delivering exceptional product solutions that align with BNY's strategic priorities and principles. This position is responsible for defining and executing product strategies that drive innovation and enhance client experiences. By leveraging deep industry knowledge and technical expertise, the Vice President, Product Owner ensures that product development aligns with BNY's commitment to operational excellence and client-centric services, contributing to the organization's strategic pillars of growth, operational efficiency, and client engagement.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies by demonstrating expertise in POM Product Management, ensuring alignment with BNY's strategic objectives. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of product enhancements. 
  • Drive product innovation by incorporating client feedback and industry trends, thereby enhancing product offerings and maintaining competitive advantage. 
  • Prioritize and manage product backlog in alignment with business goals, ensuring timely and successful product releases. 
  • Facilitate agile development processes by providing clear guidance and decision-making to ensure efficient product delivery. 
  • Monitor product performance and metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future product strategies.

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred."
  • Typically 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to drive product vision and execution. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools.
