If you’re looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it! Every day, you’ll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives. </div><h3>How You'll Have an Impact at Kinder's:</h3> This position is essential in ensuring seamless coordination between our internal operations team and our third-party warehousing partners as well as help streamline Inventory Management and warehouse best practices. You’ll be a key contact point across our warehousing, inbound, and outbound shipping processes—ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and information across the supply chain.  We're seeking someone who not only understands warehousing and supply chain best practices but is also driven by continuous improvement, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our operations and contribute directly to the continued success of the Kinder’s brand.  <h3>Key Responsibilities Include: </h3> <h4>Efficiency and Cost Savings </h4> <ul> <li>Assist in streamlining warehousing operations by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives</li> <li>Partner with Logistics and Inventory Management teams to optimize warehouse utilization and inventory flow. </li> <li>Assist in implementing cost-saving measures that reduce overall warehouse expenses while maintaining service quality. </li> </ul> <h4>Risk Mitigation </h4> <ul> <li>Proactively identify potential risks in warehouse operations, including delays, disruptions, and compliance challenges. Review 3rd party operational RCAs (root cause analyses). </li> <li>Assist to develop contingency plans and enforce process controls to ensure business continuity and resilience. </li> <li>Create and document SOPs that maintain high warehouse operational standards. </li> <li>Serve as a project member for new facility openings or operational transitions. </li> <li>Help to develop warehouse key performance indicator scorecards and 3rd party warehouse audit & continuous improvement programs.  </li> </ul> <h4>Enhanced Customer Satisfaction</h4> <ul> <li>Ensure timely and accurate receiving and shipping performance. </li> <li>Help align warehouse operations with customer expectations to strengthen relationships and build loyalty. </li> <li>Maintain open communication with internal teams and external partners to support a consistent, positive customer experience. </li> </ul> <h4>Scalability and Flexibility</h4> <ul> <li>Support to adapt warehouse operations to meet changing business needs, including seasonal fluctuations, market shifts, and new product launches. </li> <li>Assist in building flexible warehouse operational models that support both short-term demands and long-term growth. </li> </ul> <h4>Sourcing & Expansion</h4> <ul> <li>Support to adapt warehouse operations to meet changing business needs, including seasonal fluctuations, market shifts, and new product launches. </li> <li>Assist in building flexible warehouse operational models that support both short-term demands and long-term growth. </li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring to the Table: </h3> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on warehouse experience, preferably with operations background in consumer-packaged goods supply chain or operations with strong analytical skills. </li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners  </li> <li>Ability to set and achieve goals and engage in creative problem solving </li> <li>Strong organization skills and attention to detail are necessary, as well as commitment to seeing tasks through completion. </li> <li>Flexible, efficient, and motivated self-starter that requires little direction, with a proven ability in creative problem solving and managing multiple priorities </li> <li>A commitment and passion for being an active participant in our fast-paced, high growth company.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products.  Familiarity with SAP a plus. </li> <li>Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or related field is preferred.  </li> <li>Industry Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Lean Six Sigma/ Continuous Improvement, Certified ASCM (Association of Supply Chain Management). </li> </ul> <h3>Location + Pay Transparency:</h3> This role will be located in our Walnut Creek, California office. The expected starting salary range for this role is $105,000- $115,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
