[WCF] System Analyst- 6-months project
Job Description
Project – the aim you’ll have
As a System Analyst, you will work closely with the Product Owner and delivery team to define features and drive them to a "ready" state for development. This role is primarily internal and focused on enabling clear, testable, and estimable work. You will help shape epics, propose acceptance criteria and functional specifications, identify gaps, and support backlog refinement so the team can deliver reliably.
The current project is expected to continue until February 28, 2027. Following its completion, we will explore opportunities to transition you to another project, depending on business needs and project availability.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Partner with the Product Owner to understand product intent and help shape and refine epics.
- Propose clear acceptance criteria and functional specifications that drive out ambiguity and guide development and testing.
- Lead backlog refinement activities to move features toward "ready" state for sprint planning.
- Analyze features end-to-end to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Recommend pragmatic adjustments to scope or approach to meet requirements in the most effective way.
- Collaborate with architects and developers during refinement to validate feasibility and technical soundness.
- Support estimation by structuring requirements, mapping dependencies, and clarifying scope.
- Maintain high-quality internal documentation (flows, assumptions, business rules, definitions, and scope boundaries).
- Support the Product Owner in shaping the roadmap and prioritization discussions.
- Work within the agile framework to keep the backlog healthy and the team aligned.
Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need
- 5+ years of commercial experience in system/business analysis in technology-driven product teams.
- Proven track record of defining feature requirements and producing clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Strong experience in backlog refinement, story definition, and working toward "definition of ready."
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to detect requirement gaps and drive practical improvements.
- Solid technical understanding of systems, APIs/integrations, and architecture fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with agile frameworks and backlog management practices.
- Strong written and verbal English (C1+), with clear and structured communication.
- High ownership mindset and strong collaboration in cross-functional internal teams.
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Experience supporting Product Owners in roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Experience with process optimization and delivery efficiency improvements.
- Ability to balance business intent, technical constraints, and timeline realities.
- Familiarity with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) for process documentation and analysis.
- Experience using AI tooling to enhance analysis, documentation, and requirement definition workflows.
