FTE/Scheduled Weekly Hours:

1.00 / 40 / 1st Shift (United States of America)

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Serves as the primary point of contact for the support and maintenance of Workday, Waverly Health Center’s human resource information (HRIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This includes implementation of new modules, report development, and creating plans for new release updates.  Collaborate with various teams to ensure departmental system needs are satisfied.  Employee would be expected to cross train in areas of accounting, human resources, materials management and payroll.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Application and System Support:

  • Provide day-to-day support for users, addressing issues or questions regarding the Workday application.
  • Maintain and support the Workday system, including configuration, security, integrations and troubleshooting in conjunction with IT department.
  • Review upcoming Workday releases to coordinate testing, training, and implementation of new features.

Project Management:

  • Lead and participate in projects related to the optimization of Workday while coordinating with multiple departments.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders and workstream leaders to improve efficiency and business processes within Workday.
  • Coordinate with external support groups as needed.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday to support decision-making.
  • Proactively identify data issues and work towards resolution.

Cross Training:

  • Provide support in areas of accounting, human resources, materials management and/or payroll to improve practical knowledge of Workday functionality.
  • Take ownership of specific daily/weekly tasks within these functional areas.  Specific assignments will depend on prior work experiences of the employee.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education, work experience and other requirements:

  • Onsite work required majority of the time. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in and administrating an ERP or HRIS system, including Workday or similar systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management and working with cross functional teams preferred.
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
  • Experience in system configuration, integrations, and data management.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain organized and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, including business process design and security administration preferred.
  • Workday certifications(s) are desirable.
  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, and/or finance processes and best practices preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting – Approximately 75% of shift.
  • Standing – Approximately 10% of shift.
  • Walking – Approximately 15% of shift.
  • Lifting – Infrequent.
  • Twisting – Infrequent.
  • Bending – Infrequent.
  • Squat/Kneel – Infrequent.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

May come in contact with hazardous chemicals or treatment modalities.

Possibility of exposure to communicable diseases due to the healthcare environment.

Involvement in patient care may result in unavoidable work-related illnesses.
