Skills and Competencies

  • 0-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors in invoices, payments, and vendor documentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Active and eager learner with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
  • Knowledge of SAP financial systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Coupa preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Support vendor onboarding and accounts payable operations by ensuring accurate documentation, timely inquiry resolution, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Assist in obtaining and validating supplier documentation required for vendor onboarding and updates
  • Maintain compliance and consistency with internal control policies while gathering and reviewing vendor documentation
  • Help mitigate fraudulent activity through accurate supplier verification processes
  • Respond to vendor and business stakeholder inquiries through the ticketing system in a timely manner
  • Investigate and address issues related to vendor onboarding, invoice status, and payment discrepancies
  • Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to management when risks or service impacts are identified
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support Accounts Payable operations
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
