Actuarial Analyst - 2394505

EMPLOYER: Optum Services, Inc

JOB TITLE: Actuarial Analyst

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Comply revenue and statistical data for various projects, including producing monthly variance analysis reports and forecast revenue; perform expense cost projections and unpaid claim reserve estimates; access and extract data from databases, review it for accuracy, and resolve any issues; develop and generate data reports, apply actuarial approaches while balancing principles with business realities; measure historical relationships to identify trend drivers, create and test models, and maintain them for efficiency; analyze healthcare claims data, perform quantitative analysis, and develop detailed data sets for client reporting and analytics; and set and defend key model assumptions. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
