Job DescriptionAbout the Team:This position will be part of the Enterprise Workplace and Collaboration Team within the Infrastructure Technology department. The team consists of global engineers supporting key Technology solutions.
About the Role:This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying visually appealing and highly interactive business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.Ā Ā
The incumbent would work with Business Analysts and key stakeholders to analyze the data and reporting requirements, understand the business needs, ensure data accuracy, and recommend and deliver insightful dashboards and reports that support decision-making processes.Ā
Responsibilities of the Role:- The focus of the role is to develop Power BI reports that are user friendly and visually impactfulĀ
- Incorporate native and GenAI/ML data analysis features of Power BI to translate data into insights and highlight actionable KPIsĀ
- Develop UI/UX and design language for various Technology reporting themesĀ
- Devise and implement design principles and ensure all reports adhere to these principlesĀ
- Translate business requirements into documented navigation flows and wireframesĀ
- Take a simplistic and self-explanatory approach to reporting interface to ensure answers to questions asked by Business Partners are clear and evidentĀ
- Ability to self-manage, by understanding customer needs and converting them into deliverablesĀ Ā
- Utilize full potential of Power BI by incorporating the latest features and updatesĀ Ā
- Serve as the Power BI subject matter expert for a dedicated Technology Infrastructure team.Ā
- Implement row level security and manage access to reports and workspacesĀ
- Work with Business Analysts to review and prioritize requirements and track to completionĀ
- Extract data from multiple data sources by configuring Power BI gateways and using M scripting to connect and refresh the data.Ā Ā
- Write complex DAX statements and utilize R to manipulate and analyze dataĀ
- Ability to work with large structured and unstructured datasetsĀ
- Special projects as assignedĀ
- Three plus years of experience with Microsoft BI StackĀ Ā
- At least two years of Power BI reporting experienceĀ
- Comprehensive design experience with knowledge of common design tools such as PhotoshopĀ
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Office products, especially ExcelĀ

The salary range for this position in Charlottetown is $52,000 - $58,000 CAD/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
