We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies. Summary This position is mainly responsible for accurate and timely transmission of customs entries to US Customs and Border Protection. This position will act as the liaison to overseas offices, customers, CBP, PGA's, and other involved parties and will need to work efficiently in order to clear imported goods through US Customs. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain customer quotations, rate sheets, pricing proposals, and other sales-related documentation to support transportation and logistics business development activities. Administer customer accounts by maintaining accurate customer records, contractual information, service details, and account documentation. Coordinate and respond to customer inquiries by collaborating with internal departments to provide timely and accurate information. Monitor and follow up on sales opportunities, customer requests, and pending actions to support business growth and customer retention. Collect, organize, and maintain customer, vendor, carrier, and pricing information within company systems and databases. Support the preparation, compilation, and submission of RFQ/RFP responses by gathering required operational, pricing, and commercial information. Coordinate rate collection activities with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing submissions. Review pricing and commercial data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to customer submission. Generate, compile, and distribute sales performance reports, pricing analyses, and activity summaries to support management decision-making. Maintain organized documentation and electronic records related to sales activities, customer accounts, quotations, and pricing initiatives. Collaborate with sales, operations, and other functional teams to ensure alignment of customer requirements, service offerings, and pricing strategies. Identify process improvement opportunities within sales administration and account management activities to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy. Assist with meeting coordination, presentation preparation, and other sales team administrative activities. Support special projects, audits, and data requests related to sales operations and customer account management. Provide backup support for other sales administration functions during peak workload periods or staff absences.
