Chevron is accepting online applications for the position through September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Venezuela Time).
Western Venezuela Finance organization, located in Maracaibo (Richmond office), Venezuela, is accepting online applications for the position of Forecasting and Financial Analysis and Report (FFAR) analyst. Successful candidates will join a team which oversees the Petroboscan Joint Venture with a workforce of 30 employees delivering financial services and solutions in Western Venezuela directly linked to the Chevron Venezuela organization.
The FFAR analyst will coordinate financial forecasting and analysis to feed reports for decision making of leaders.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Interact with Corporate and Venezuela financial teams to be familiar with solutions to identify the business insights to make the right financial decisions. 
• Improve the outlook process to perform accurate forecast to anticipate cost and return trends. 
• Provide support to the entire Joint Venture organizations to leverage on business data. 
• Partner with Projects & Digitalization Coordinator to adopt digital tools to improve reporting and financial forecasts.
• Partner with Planning team for the making of Business plans. 
• Guide the JV organizations to allocate the costs in the right accounts and cost centers.
• Utilize SAP reports to pull the financial data to feed the analysis. 
• Educate the JV organization on financial topics.  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, CPA, or Finance. 
• 1 to 5 years of experience in finance. 
• Strong analytical and ERP technical skills.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a crossed-discipline and diverse environment. 
• Teamwork and customer service focus. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile, Excel modeling and Power MS applications experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and Smart.
• Joint Venture experience in Western Venezuela.
• Open to work in the field for short periods of time, as needed.

Relocation Options

Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
