The Analyst Supply Chain Domestic Market (Temporary Contract) is responsible for coordinating deliveries and receipt of raw materials for Spanish assets and customers. This role ensures that established processes are followed and that plants/customers receive the required raw materials on time and in the most efficient manner possible. The position is based in Madrid and reports directly to the Supply Chain team leads.

 

 

Main Accountabilities:

 

  • Work closely with Production Scheduling to ensure adequate and uninterrupted inventory levels at the plants by coordinating truck shipments from suppliers to the appropriate Bunge facilities and customers
  • Develop and provide detailed weekly inventory and supply plans to the Operations team, including reports and analyses for various review meetings.
  • Manage inventory allocation and storage plans at supplier storage and transload facilities for all inbound materials destined for storage tanks, barges, or rail transportation.
  • Create and execute deployment plans for the transportation of raw materials from suppliers, working directly with third-party service providers, focus on truck carriers.
  • Record and maintain all inbound deliveries in the appropriate systems and databases, including Excel, Access inventory models, and SAP.
  • Code, process, and prepare documentation for invoice approval and payment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Reroute shipments as required to meet demand while minimizing transportation costs.
  • Verify the accuracy of physical inventories when necessary, including month-end inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor the performance of third-party raw material handling and quality service providers.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team regarding all required sample shipments.
  • Communicate fulfillment status, supply issues, and potential risks to key stakeholders, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics Management, Sales, and Customer Service teams.

 

 

Knowledge & Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain and operational processes, including demand planning, production planning, forecasting, truck and rail logistics, and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and SAP BW.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and departments.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, efficient, and team-oriented.
