About your team

The Investment Fund Specialists Team in India is an integral part of the Asset Management function. The team partners closely with stakeholders across Equities, Fixed Income, Systematics and Multi Asset based in London, Japan, Hong Kong, and Canada. It works in collaboration with Investment Directors and Portfolio Managers in overseas offices, supporting the development, positioning, and communication of Fidelity’s investment strategies to internal and external clients.

About your role

  • The individual will join as a Data Analyst, in the Investment Fund Specialists Team in India, working alongside Investment Directors, Investment Specialists and Investment Fund Analysts to support the delivery and automation of client/management reporting, mainly for the Systematics area.
  • Responsibilities include data handling and processing, working with Fidelity’s infrastructure to analyse portfolio positioning and exposures and provide meaningful output for client reporting, engagement and internal management information.
  • In practice, this means working with existing sources and systems on holdings, positioning and exposure data, risk characteristics, performance and attribution, both at single points in time and as time-series information. The work will cover Systematic Equity and Fixed Income portfolios, including customised mandates and model portfolios, among others.

It will involve consolidating multiple data sources, strengthening controls and simplifying processes to improve efficiency, consistency and auditability.
  • The individual will use their data and investment experience to help the team deliver high-quality client service, respond to new business opportunities and support the continued growth of the Systematic Investing platform.
  • The role will help the Systematic business scale its reporting and data capabilities as the number and complexity of mandates increase. This requires close engagement with Investment Directors, Investment Specialists, Investment Fund Analysts, Portfolio Managers and relevant data, technology and Seismic teams to develop robust, repeatable and auditable processes. Success requires strong data and investment knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex portfolio information into clear, client-ready outputs.
