BI Developer

- Hands-on experience in migrating reports from legacy BI platforms or existing reporting environments to Power BI, including requirement analysis, report rationalization, data mapping, redevelopment, testing, and user validation. - Good understanding of SQL and relational data concepts, with the ability to query, validate, and interpret data from databases, data marts, warehouses, or curated datasets. - Experience in defining business metrics, KPIs, report layouts, drill-through views, filters, and visual storytelling approaches for executive and operational reporting.

- Knowledge of other BI or visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, Looker, or similar platforms will be an added advantage. - Familiarity with cloud data platforms, data warehouses, or analytics ecosystems such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or SQL Server will be preferred. - Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile teams and under tight deadlines.

- Follow Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, status updates, demos, and documentation of BI deliverables. - 4–7 years of industry experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, BI Analyst, Reporting Developer, or similar role, with primary hands-on experience in Power BI. - 2–3 years of core insurance domain experience, preferably across claims, policy, underwriting, billing, reinsurance, or related insurance reporting areas.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report publishing, workspace management, and dashboard performance optimization. - Hands-on experience in migrating reports from legacy BI platforms or existing reporting environments to Power BI, including requirement analysis, report rationalization, data mapping, redevelopment, testing, and user validation.
