Role Summary

Seeking a BI Developer with significant experience in MicroStrategy and SAP BusinessObjects to deliver enterprise reporting, optimize BI platforms, and support BO migration and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance MicroStrategy and SAP BusinessObjects reports, dashboards, universes, and scheduled deliveries.

· Execute BO migration and upgrade activities covering inventory, dependency assessment, WebI reports, universes, connections, folders, schedules, publications, users, and security.

· Use Promotion Management/LCM; perform validation, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, rollback planning, and post-migration stabilization.

· Review MicroStrategy configurations, VLDB settings, performance, security roles, permissions, and ACLs; implement approved improvements.

· Coordinate with business, BI, infrastructure, data, and security teams, and maintain technical and operational documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

· Significant BI development experience with strong MicroStrategy expertise and hands-on SAP BusinessObjects experience.

· MicroStrategy project configuration, VLDB settings, performance tuning, security, roles, permissions, and ACL design.

· BO Web Intelligence, UDT/IDT, CMC, universes, connections, scheduling, publications, and security administration.

· Hands-on BO migration or upgrade experience using Promotion Management/LCM, including assessment, testing, cutover, rollback, and stabilization.

· Experience in enterprise-scale BI environments with strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder-management, and documentation skills.

Desirable

· Exposure to BI modernization, Power BI/Fabric, cost or performance optimization, and regulated industries.

Education

· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience.
