Job description

This role will be responsible for development and completion of assigned engagements driving automation and AI enabled solutions strengthening overall service delivery operational excellence. This role will contribute directly towards Lead in efficiency strategic priority.

What You’ll do 

  • Develop, test, and deploy automation-scoped tasks using approved GBT tech stack

  • Write and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation

  • Administer the automation platform, including user access, scheduling, and workflow monitoring

  • Perform quality checks on each scoped deliverable to ensure accuracy and reliability

  • Meet performance metrics (e.g., turnaround time, accuracy, SLA compliance) for assigned engagements

  • Troubleshoot and fix workflow errors and technical issues

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and configuration notes for all assigned engagements

  • Share development progress on assigned tasks with stakeholders

  • Identify and flag opportunities for process improvement or automation within assigned work

  • Leverage approved AI/GenAI tools to support development work

What We're looking for  

  • Graduate (Computer Science, IT, analytics, or related) with 3+ years of relevant experience in automation, data preparation, or ETL; travel industry background a plus

  • A curious, energetic self-starter who picks up new tools quickly and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to problem-solving

  • Experience building and maintaining data workflows using tools like Alteryx, KNIME, or equivalent, VBA along with SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data across relational databases

  • Proficiency in the MS Office tools including Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, plus familiarity with Power Automate, SharePoint lists

  • Experience with Claude or similar AI tools to support development is preferred

  • A structured thinker who can break down complex problems and translate them into clear, reusable documentation

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

  • Flexible, effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and time management skills
