Job description

Title : Business Analyst / Sales Operations Analyst, Value Added Partners

About GlobalFoundries

GlobalFoundries (GF) is a leading full‑service semiconductor foundry providing a unique mix of design, development, and fabrication services. Through our global manufacturing footprint, differentiated technologies, and commitment to partnership, GF enables customers to develop innovative semiconductor solutions for a wide range of applications.

Introduction

The Business Analyst / Sales Operations Analyst, Value-Added Partners will play a key role in helping build and scale GF's global Value-Added Partner (VAP) operating model. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys analytics, business problem solving, process improvement, and working across global teams to create structure, visibility, and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, business-minded, detail-oriented, and curious. This role offers broad exposure to global Sales, Business Units, regional teams, and cross-functional partners, creating a strong opportunity to learn, build business acumen, and develop toward broader Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Partner Strategy roles.

GF's VAP program is a growing global initiative. This role will help build the analytics, processes, and operating discipline needed to scale the program, improve partner performance, and support better business decisions across Sales, Business Units, and regional teams.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to influence how the program is measured, managed, and improved while gaining global experience and visibility across a broad commercial stakeholder network.

Your Job:

Analytics, Reporting & Business Insights

  • Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports that are clear, consumable, and actionable for Sales, Business Units, and leadership.
  • Analyze partner performance, revenue, funnel, incentive, and program data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate analysis into practical recommendations that improve partner performance, program effectiveness, and decision-making.
  • Prepare recurring business reviews, performance metrics, and executive-ready summaries for the VAP program.

Program Operations & Process Management

  • Coordinate partner onboarding, offboarding, incentive administration, documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Maintain partner records, process documentation, checklists, business rules, and operating procedures.
  • Track program actions, deadlines, and open issues to ensure timely follow-through across Sales, Legal, Finance, Trade Compliance, IT, and regional teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, automate reporting, and increase operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • +5 years of experience in business analytics, sales operations, commercial operations, finance, program management, or related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability and experience building dashboards or reports using Power BI, Tableau, CRM data, or similar tools.
  • Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and ability to connect data to business actions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Experience documenting, managing, or improving business processes, workflows, and operating procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize insights, recommendations, risks, and next steps clearly for business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, sales operations, partner programs, or commercial operations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Power Query, SQL, workflow automation, or process improvement methods.
  • Experience supporting partner onboarding, incentive programs, contract tracking, or cross-functional business operations.
