POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Financial Analyst to support our Engineered Plastics business. The role will focus on delivering high-quality financial analysis, supporting pricing decisions, and partnering with commercial teams to improve business performance. The ideal candidate should have strong financial modeling skills, a good understanding of revenue drivers, and the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver financial reporting and analysis for assigned business segments
- Analyze revenue, pricing, and profitability (price / volume / mix)
- Perform variance analysis and explain key performance drivers
- Build, maintain, and improve financial models
- Support pricing decisions through margin and profitability insights
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions
- Identify risks and opportunities impacting financial results
- Improve reporting processes, tools, and data quality
- Translate business inputs into structured financial insights for decision-making
Core Skills
- Strong understanding of revenue and margin drivers
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, analysis, dashboards)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI is a plus)
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to connect financial outcomes with business decisions

Additional Information: This role is based in Chennai (Taramani).The position supports U.K. business hours (approx. 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST) and during month close US business hours (approx. 7:00 PM -4:00 PM IST)
Requirements
- Education: B.Com, MBA (Finance), CA, or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance reporting, Analyzing revenue, Pricing & Profitability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and lookups)
