Job Description:

Pluxee is a global player in employee benefits and engagement that operates in 31 countries. Pluxee helps companies attract, engage, and retain talent thanks to a broad range of solutions across Meal & Food, Wellbeing, Lifestyle, Reward & Recognition, and Public Benefits.

Powered by leading technology and more than 5,000 engaged team members, Pluxee acts as a trusted partner within a highly interconnected B2B2C ecosystem made up of more than 500,000 clients, 36 million consumers and 1.7 million merchants.

Conducting its business as a trusted partner for more than 45 years, Pluxee is committed to creating a positive impact on all its stakeholders, from driving business to local communities, to supporting wellbeing at work for employees while protecting the planet.

🚀 Your next challenge

The Chief Data & AI Officer plays a global, critical, and strategic role for Pluxee, leading the Group’s Data and AI transformation and driving the end-to-end Data Strategy, Governance, and roadmap; from strategic vision to technical execution across the organization.

This role unifies product vision, business value creation, and technical excellence to ensure data directly translates into tangible impact, operational efficiency, and global performance.

The Chief Data & AI Officer will lead and govern a cross-functional data community and own the technical data platform and team, accelerating Pluxee's transition to a data-driven organization.

In addition, the VP Data is accountable for capturing and maximizing data value across the entire Pluxee ecosystem, with a clear focus on external stakeholders, ensuring data becomes a lever for differentiation, innovation, and growth in the market.

As a core enabler of business growth, product innovation, and operational excellence, the Chief Data & IA Officer ensures that data, insights, and AI capabilities  both technical and human power Pluxee’s products, customer experiences, and critical business processes.

The Chief Data & AI Officer bridges strategic vision, data strategy, and execution, embedding data and AI into Pluxee’s culture and driving measurable value creation across the entire ecosystem.

Acting as a catalyst for growth, innovation, and efficiency, the Chief Data & AI Officer harnesses the full potential of data, insights, and AI—across both technology and people—to strengthen Pluxee’s products, customer experiences, and business performance.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  •  Data & AI Vision, Strategy & Roadmap

- Define and execute a unified Data & AI vision aligned with Pluxee’s business strategic roadmap and Pluxee strategy.
- Develop a 3-year roadmap combining data maturity, AI innovation, and platform scalability at global level.

- Lead the Data team and Data & AI/ Gen AI Cockpit, articulating with relevant Functional stakeholders, at executive and operational level

- Govern investment, prioritization, and performance tracking across the data and AI portfolio.
- Ensure measurable business value through clear KPIs and delivery discipline.

  • Business Enablement through Data & AI

- Partner with all relevant Pluxee Functions — Product, Sales & Marketing, Customer Care, HR, Finance, Communications, Legal, IT, and Operations — to identify and deliver AI-powered features and data-driven user experiences.

- Build and manage a portfolio of reusable Data Products (such as customer graphs, recommendation engines, scoring models, and pricing intelligence) designed to support multiple use cases and managed through a clear lifecycle approach.

- Drive the AI roadmap from experimentation to scalable deployment across Pluxee’s businesses — turning proofs of concept into operational capabilities through robust MLOps practices and close collaoration with product and technology teams

- Promote a culture of data-informed decision making by embedding measurement and learning frameworks into key business and product delivery cycles.

  • Architecture, Platform & MLOps (in collaboration with Technology)

- Lead the evolution of the Group’s data and AI platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Oversee data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and governance across structured and unstructured data.
- Implement robust MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with other Product & Technology Competence Centers / Teams to align architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure standards.

  • AI and Gen AI Transformation

- Identify, prioritize, and scale ML, AI and Gen AI use cases across business domains (fraud prevention, personalization, pricing, customer service).
- Lead the creation of an AI Incubator or Center of Excellence to accelerate AI experimentation and industrialization.
- Promote the adoption of generative AI and LLM-based solutions, ensuring compliance and ethical governance.
- Partner with Design & UX teams to enhance product experiences through intelligent, data-driven features.

  • Data Governance, Quality & Compliance

- Define and enforce data governance and quality standards across markets and products.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and AI regulations (GDPR, AI Act, local standards).
- Maintain transparency, lineage, and accountability for data and AI assets.
- Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Risk teams to manage ethical AI and data responsibility.

  • Leadership, Culture & Ecosystem

- Build and inspire a high-performing Data & AI organization (engineering, data science, product analytics, governance).
- Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Animate the internal Data Community and promote cross-functional alignment across functions.
- Represent Pluxee in the external AI ecosystem (partners, vendors, academia, innovation networks).

🌟 You’re a match

1. Strategic & Business Leadership:

  • Ability to own and articulate an enterprise-wide Data & AI strategy aligned with corporate objectives, not just IT or analytics roadmaps.
  • Strong business acumen: capacity to link Data & AI initiatives to P&L, revenue growth, efficiency gains, and ROI rather than experimentation alone.
  • Credibility at COMEX / Board level, including investment prioritization and value tracking.

2. Data Foundations & Governance at Scale:

  • Proven leadership in enterprise data governance: data quality, lineage, ownership, privacy, and ethics.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory environments (GDPR, emerging AI regulations such as the EU AI Act).
  • Ability to build a trusted data foundation, seen as a prerequisite for scalable AI and GenAI adoption.

3. AI & GenAI Industrialization Capability:

  • Experience moving AI from pilot/POC → production → scale, across multiple business domains.
  • Strong command of MLOps / GenAIOps principles, including monitoring, lifecycle management, and performance drift control.
  • Proven ability to industrialize AI and GenAI, not just to design strategies or run pilots.

4. Technology & Architecture Literacy:

  • Strong understanding of modern cloud-based data stacks and AI platforms.
  • Ability to set architectural direction and standards, while delegating deep technical execution to platform and engineering leaders.

5. Change Management & Culture Transformation:

  • Ability to embed data- and AI‑driven decision-making into business routines, not just dashboards delivery.
  • Strong change leadership to drive adoption, manage resistance, and upskill non‑technical leaders and teams.
  • Experience animating a cross‑functional data community (Product, Sales, Ops, Finance, HR).

6. Leadership, Organization & Talent:

  • Proven experience leading large, multi‑country Data & AI teams.
  • Capability to design a scalable operating model (central + spoke, product-oriented data teams, portfolio governance).
  • Ability to attract and retain scarce Data & AI talent, while partnering with vendors and ecosystems.
