About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant
In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis. 
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all management levels
  • Ability to multi-task and finish work within strict timelines and provide timely requests for information and follow-up questions
  • Eagerness to contribute collaboratively on projects and discussions
  • Perpetual interest in learning something new, but being comfortable with not knowing the all the answers
  • Attention to detail in both analytics and documentation
  • Aptitude for synthesizing data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective


Job Expectations:

  • As a Team Member, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself and the business. Specifically you will:
  • Create an environment where team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
  • Lead implementation of complex initiatives with moderate to high risk for the line of business.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
  • Shift: 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST
