Position: Credit Analyst I

Location: Oakdale, CA 
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Credit Administration
Reports To: VP Credit Department Manager
Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000 annually [$24.04 per hour- $33.65 per hour]
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Additional Compensation: Employees may be considered for annual performance-based salary increases; eligibility and amount are determined by individual performance and business needs.

Total Compensation: In addition to base pay, this position may include performance-based salary increases. Oak Valley Community Bank also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings with employer match, paid time off, and other voluntary benefits. Final compensation will be based on skills experience, and internal equity.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Banking Credit Analyst I, you will play a crucial role in our banking institution by analyzing credit data and financial information of our clients to determine the risk involved in lending money. You will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of our clients and making recommendations to the credit committee. Your work will directly impact the success of our lending operations and the overall financial health of our institution. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in credit analysis or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial lending [Agriculture lending a plus]
  • Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
