This role combines CRM administration, reporting development, and advanced analytics to transform CRM data into actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technically proficient in HubSpot administration. This individual will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure CRM processes are aligned with business objectives while maintaining strong data governance and system performance. The CRM Business Analyst will also play a key role in supporting users, improving reporting capabilities, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

HubSpot Administration & Governance

  • Administer the HubSpot platform: Manage users, permissions, configurations, and system settings to support operational needs.
  • Maintain data integrity: Implement data governance practices including deduplication, validation, and standardized data entry processes.
  • Manage CRM architecture: Maintain and optimize CRM objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, and automation processes.
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting: Serve as the primary internal contact for HubSpot-related questions, issues, and technical assistance.
  • Evaluate integrations and enhancements: Identify and implement new tools, integrations, and platform features to improve system capabilities.

2. CRM Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Develop CRM reporting frameworks: Design and maintain advanced reports and dashboards to support sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Standardize KPI tracking: Monitor metrics related to pipeline health, lead conversion, revenue generation, and customer retention.
  • Automate reporting processes: Build automated dashboards and recurring reports to improve visibility and reduce manual reporting tasks.
  • Provide executive insights: Deliver clear, data-driven summaries to support strategic planning and operational decisions.

3. Data Analytics & Business Insights

  • Conduct deep-dive performance analysis: Evaluate sales performance, customer behavior, and lifecycle trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify revenue optimization opportunities: Detect inefficiencies within the sales funnel and highlight areas for margin improvement.
  • Perform segmentation and trend analysis: Utilize cohort analysis and data modeling to uncover patterns and growth opportunities.
  • Translate data into business insights: Present findings in a clear and actionable format for leadership and operational teams.

4. CRM Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Act as the HubSpot subject matter expert: Maintain strong knowledge of platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Enhance CRM workflows: Collaborate with stakeholders to improve lead scoring, attribution tracking, and workflow automation.
  • Improve system usability: Continuously refine CRM processes to enhance user adoption and reporting accuracy.
  • Support training and adoption: Provide guidance and training to CRM users across departments to ensure consistent system usage.

5. Market Intelligence & Business Analysis

  • Integrate market and competitor insights: Incorporate competitive data and external intelligence into CRM reporting structures where applicable.
  • Analyze pricing and positioning: Evaluate competitor pricing trends, product positioning, and market penetration.
  • Support wholesale channel analysis: Analyze distributor and channel partner performance within the CRM ecosystem.
  • Assess customer profitability: Evaluate customer lifetime value, discount structures, and volume-based sales strategies.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with key departments: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align CRM reporting with business priorities.
  • Communicate complex insights clearly: Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support leadership initiatives: Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to assist with strategic decision-making.
  • Drive data-informed culture: Encourage adoption of CRM insights across the organization to improve decision-making and performance.
