Overview We are seeking an experienced Cyber Data Analyst to support senior-level cybersecurity initiatives within a Department of War environment. This role focuses on data analysis, cybersecurity reporting, executive-level coordination, Zero Trust support, task management, and strategic communications across a broad enterprise organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience supporting DoW components, Joint Commands, or senior-level offices, with the ability to translate cybersecurity, intelligence, technical, and operational data into clear reports, metrics, briefings, and strategy documents for executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Support cybersecurity data analysis, reporting, and metrics development for senior leadership and enterprise stakeholders. Analyze cybersecurity, technology, intelligence, threat, and user activity data to identify trends, risks, performance gaps, and operational impacts. Develop enterprise-level reports, dashboards, briefings, strategy documents, and visual communications using tools such as Power BI or similar platforms. Support Zero Trust initiatives by applying knowledge of Zero Trust principles, implementation approaches, and cybersecurity best practices. Conduct research, analysis, and coordination to accurately represent leadership intent, priorities, and organizational interests. Support task management and coordination across a broad organization using CATMS or similar enterprise task management systems. Coordinate with cybersecurity teams, DoW components, Joint Commands, and executive-level stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and reporting requirements. Assist in overseeing cybersecurity-focused projects, work efforts, or teams to ensure alignment with mission priorities and leadership expectations. Translate complex technical, cybersecurity, and intelligence information into clear, actionable communications for executive and C-suite equivalent audiences. Prepare written, verbal, and visual products that communicate cybersecurity posture, risks, progress, and recommendations to senior decision-makers. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of cybersecurity or IT experience, or 14+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Experience supporting DoW components, senior-level offices, or Joint Commands. Experience with data analysis, metrics development, dashboards, and reporting tools such as Power BI. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, enterprise security operations, threat monitoring, and Zero Trust. Experience supporting or overseeing cybersecurity-focused teams, projects, or work efforts. Knowledge of CATMS or similar task management systems for directing and tracking organizational tasking. Ability to conduct research, coordinate with stakeholders, and develop leadership-ready recommendations. Ability to translate cybersecurity, intelligence, technology, and operational information into executive-level reports, briefings, and strategy documents. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills for executive and C-suite equivalent audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing cybersecurity dashboards, executive metrics, and visual reporting products. Experience supporting DoD, DoW, Intelligence Community, or Joint Staff cybersecurity initiatives. Experience with threat analysis, user activity monitoring, cyber risk reporting, or enterprise cybersecurity governance. Strong understanding of cybersecurity strategy, compliance, policy, and operational reporting. Experience preparing briefings, decision papers, talking points, and leadership communications for senior officials.
