As a Data Engineer, You will:
Use data knowledge to identify, retrieve, prepare, manipulate, calculate, and exploit structured and unstructured data sets to create new data sets
Evaluate new data sets for use in data modeling and report building
Maintain the data environment
Use data preparation tools (e.g. Coalesce)
Resolve data quality issues
Provide consultation to others with regards to data, systems, and concepts
What you bring to this role:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
At least 2 years of related data experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
What sets you apart:
Quantitative degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science)
Data Warehousing / Data Modeling experience
Experience with data preparation tools
Insurance industry knowledge
Strong SQL skills
