Job Description
Within Ubisoft International Headquarters, you will join the Ubisoft Data Office, responsible for Ubisoft’s Data Strategy, Governance, and a variety of data services and products for storing, processing, distributing, analyzing, and surfacing data across the company.
As Data Governance Standards Specialist, you will become part of the core Data Governance team that leads the way towards making Ubisoft’s data trustworthy and easily available, while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance.

- Contribute to the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of the Data Governance Framework and its operating model.

- Support the inventory of Data Domain products and underlying data assets with the help of business and data teams across Ubisoft.

- Contribute to ensuring Data Protection (e.g., Data Access Mgmt. & Regulatory Compliance).
- Closely collaborate with technical partners (Domain Enabling, Data Platform, Architects, …) to define and promote internal standards and best practices for Data Product design and development (e.g., Modelling, Architecture, Access Management, Data Quality Management, Master Data usage & Interoperability…).
- Partner closely with our technology teams to propose and coordinate the implementation of the right tools/platforms to enable Data Governance implementation within Data Domain teams, with a particular focus on Computational Data Governance (Data Governance by design and highly automated).
- Grow data teams skills and awareness about Data Governance through sharing, events, coaching/mentoring as well as Ubisoft employee’s data culture.
- Track and report on progress & success for your project(s) and improve/adapt the framework constantly, particularly regarding the Data Governance Pillars you are responsible for.
- Stay up to date on data industry trends and introduce them to the data department and practitioners across the company.
- Maintain a network of support and expertise.
Qualifications
- Confirmed experience as a data expert, business analyst or hands-on project manager. Having acted as Data leader or as an expert within a Data team would be a plus.
- Experience in leading, coordinating and delivering projects composed of cross-functional moving parts and across multiple business and technology teams.
- Ability to collaborate with individuals at all hierarchical levels and with a wide range of functional and/or technical skills.
- Thorough knowledge of a company business functions and their objectives.
- Ability to clearly articulate the value of Data Governance within the company.
- Critical thinking
- Ability to quickly adapt to change.
- Strong sense of ownership and a self-starter.
- Data and result oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French would be a plus.
