Job Title

Data Management & Governance Associate

Data Management & Governance Associate contributes to the execution of data governance and data management activities that ensure data is accurate, secure, compliant, and properly managed across business domains. The role supports the implementation of policies, standards, controls, and documentation practices that enable trusted data usage while aligning with enterprise governance principles established by TIDE and the Amadeus Data Office (ADO).

As a Data Management & Governance Associate your responsibilities will be:

  • Support the implementation and adoption of data governance policies, standards, and controls across business domains.
  • Maintain governance documentation, including metadata, data lineage, data inventories, and data product records.
  • Promote data management best practices to improve data quality, consistency, and trustworthiness.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Technology teams to support policy enforcement and risk mitigation activities.
  • Support governance reviews, audits, control assessments, and remediation actions.
  • Monitor and help manage data sharing agreements, usage restrictions, and compliance obligations.
  • Maintain and support metadata management activities in the enterprise governance platform (Collibra), ensuring Data Products, datasets, ownership, and business metadata remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support Data Product Owners in the preparation and maintenance of governance and documentation artifacts following internal documentation standards and templates.
  • Track governance metrics, issues, and improvement initiatives to support continuous governance maturity.
  • Partner with business, data, and technology stakeholders to drive awareness, adoption, and effective execution of governance practices.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Junior profile with experience in data-related roles.
  • Knowledge of Collibra, Snowflake, AWS, Confluence, and cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance and data management concepts.
  • Knowledge of GDPR/RGPD is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, structured approach, and proactive mindset.
