Through a combination of strategy, expertise and creativity, we help clients accelerate operational, digital and cultural transformation, enabling the change they need to own their future.

Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.

You've gained valuable technical expertise in the vibrant consulting arena. But you find yourself wondering what's next on your career agenda. You want to continue developing your current skills but you want to step it up a notch. Huron has your answer—our Digital Consulting Associate position.

Our Associates perform a wide range of functions, working in conjunction with other Huron and client team members to support the full implementation life cycle including planning, configuration, design, build, testing, training, go-live and post-production support. It's a highly dynamic position with considerable visibility across both delivery teams and client stakeholders.

One trait that describes our ideal Associate candidate is highly capable. We seek out team players who consistently execute well-developed talents and embrace career growth. Maybe your forte involves data architecture and solution design or maybe complex data quality and governance frameworks. Whatever your unique talents, whatever your passion in design, configuration, and collaboration, we've got you covered.

We are looking for a Data Management Solution Consultant to join our team and help us design, configure, and implement enterprise data management solutions for our clients. Under the guidance of a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, configuring data management platforms, and ensuring compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards. You will also collaborate closely with client resources, data stewards, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver solutions that align with enterprise data strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture — Gather business and technical requirements, support the design of data management architectures (including data models, workflows, and integration points), define master data domains and governance strategies, and work with stakeholders to establish matching, survivorship, and golden record rules.

Configuration & Implementation — Configure data management platforms to support integration, quality, and governance processes; develop data validation, cleansing, and enrichment rules; implement role-based access controls; and collaborate with development teams to integrate data management solutions with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and Data Warehouse systems.

Data Quality & Governance — Define and enforce data quality standards and business rules, implement data stewardship workflows, support data profiling and deduplication efforts, and monitor and resolve data inconsistencies and anomalies.

Testing & Validation — Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts; conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing; verify data accuracy and performance; and troubleshoot and resolve defects.

Documentation & Training — Create solution documentation including design specifications and user guides, provide training to business users, data stewards, and IT teams, and maintain system documentation and change logs.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement — Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors; support change management and adoption efforts; assist with post-implementation enhancements; and stay current with evolving data management technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Business analysis experience, including requirement gathering, translating business needs into technical solutions, and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams
  • Master data experience across match approach and tuning, conceptual to physical data modeling, and stewardship and work queue design and configuration
  • Data integration experience including data mapping, sourcing, transformation, and process orchestration across all latency types
  • Data quality and governance skills, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and enrichment
  • Testing and validation experience, including preparation and execution of UAT, data validation, and technical testing
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both delivery leads and client counterparts
  • Travel required: 25%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in data management solution delivery using comprehensive platforms that provide data governance, data integration, and master data management capabilities
  • Command of data governance and data management best practices, tools, and disciplines, including business and technology issues related to enterprise information asset management and data protection
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to make complex concepts easily understood
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations to define precise requirements, establish priorities, and drive outcomes
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
