As a Data Platform Architect at AFS, you will design and integrate forward-leaning engineering solutions for a client platform.

Responsibilities

Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to inform target-state platform decisions
Prototype safe, high-value AI integrations to minimize future rework
Lead target-state discovery initiatives for client platform
Develop and manage rollout roadmaps for the three domains
Create and execute AI/ML technical integration plans
Implement data governance and data quality frameworks
Develop data quality scoring methodologies and AI catalog summarization processes

Qualifications

5 years of experience in any of the following: data engineering, database administration, cloud services, analytics, or related technical positions
Strong skills in SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, and data warehouse technologies
Experience designing ETL/ELT architectures, streaming ingestion, and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka)
