Data Scientist

Job Responsibilities

·       Formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven projects to advance business interests

·       Data Processing and Analysis

o   Writing queries using Microsoft SQL server and creating data pipelines using Azure Data Factory

o   Designing and developing OLAP Cube, facts, and dimensions

·       Analytical Store

o   Deriving insights from operational data in an Azure Cosmos DB container for actionable insights

o   Querying data from the Azure Cosmos DB analytical store without impacting the performance of transactional workloads

·       Staying updated on Data Science developments to ensure relevance

Experience and Technical Skills Required

·       Proficiency in BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView for data analysis and reporting

·       Database management skills, particularly in SQL

·       Familiarity with programming languages like Python, which are beneficial for data analysis

o   Experience with additional languages such as ASP.NET, HTML and advantage

·       Advanced Excel skills

Educational Requirements

• 3rd level qualification in Computer Science, Statistics or related discipline
