This office manages the budget and financial accountability behind the programs that recruit, pay, train, and care for the people of the Department of War (DoW), and reliable data is how leadership demonstrates where every dollar goes. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows that transform complex DoW datasets into reliable, actionable insights. You will use Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL, and distributed-compute tools to automate ingestion, enforce data quality, validate integrity, and integrate structured and semi-structured data across mission systems. - Experience integrating structured and semi-structured datasets from multiple systems and applying business rules for governed downstream delivery - Ability to automate ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation workflows using Python scripts, SQL logic, and Databricks orchestration - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose pipeline failures and propose remediations
