Job description
Must have the following skills:

- Working experience on PostgreSQL Installation, setting up PGBouncer, PGPool, suparvisor.
- Experience in building enterprise scale database infrastructure supporting a high volume of transactions in a mission-critical environment.
- Hands-on experience in indexing, DB objects such as SPs, triggers, views in addition to experience in backup, restore and point-in-time recovery, switchover/failover tasks depends on the scenarios
- Experience in scheduled maintenance activities such as VACUUM ANALYZE, indexing, performance optimization for improving query response time.
- Deploying and managing PostgreSQL on AWS Cloud infrastructure including both EC2 & RDS instances and setting up cluster of database.
- Maintaining different clients on AWS and monitoring them using CloudWatch.

- may need to work directly with client stake holders as and when needed
