In Trading Market Risk & Compliance you will partner with Trading, Market Risk, and Finance teams to provide independent oversight of valuation, P&L and market risk exposure.
Job Role Description
The Exchange & Broker Management Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and enabling Global Trading and Market Risk activities. This role blends operational ownership with opportunities to drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and enhance the end‑to‑end trader experience across global exchanges and brokers.
As part of the Global Business Center (GBC) team, you will work closely with Market Risk, Global Trading, Brokers, and Commodity Exchanges to ensure our trading environment remains secure, compliant, and efficient. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that modernize how we manage access, data quality, and system governance across the trading ecosystem.
What You Will Do
1. Exchange Access Governance and Oversight
- Lead routine and quarterly trader access reviews, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate access records and permissions across trading systems.
- Investigate anomalies and support risk mitigation by escalating unauthorized access or irregularities.
- Trader & Broker Onboarding Experience
- Coordinate seamless onboarding and offboarding of traders and business users across global exchanges and brokers.
- Partner with internal teams and external brokers/exchanges to deliver timely, accurate access setup.
- Ensure all activities are fully documented, auditable, and aligned with governance standards.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Perform quality checks to ensure data integrity and reliable execution of access‑related processes.
- Identify gaps and propose enhancements that strengthen operational efficiency and control.
- Support internal and external audits with clear explanations and evidence of access processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for Market Risk, Global Trading, and other internal teams on Exchange access and Broker management topics.
- Communicate proactively, providing clarity and timely updates on issues, changes, and resolutions.
- System & Data Ownership
- Maintain and update trading data in systems such as SAP and other Global Trading platforms.
- Support creation and upkeep of broker profiles, exchange configurations, and trading tables.
- Project & Initiative Support
- Contribute to GBC-led initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and control enhancement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to streamline exchange and broker administration.
- Lead quarterly analysis of Trading Observations to highlight insights, trends, and opportunities for process enhancement.
About You
Academic:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, math, statistics, economics, finance, or supply chain
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 Years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills, good coding skills preferred.
- Experience in access management, compliance, or trading operations preferred.
- Familiarity with trading systems (e.g., SAP) and exchange/broker platforms
- Expertise with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to work with diverse group of individuals and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national and cross-functional teams.
- Interest in trading, business strategy, and supply chain optimization.
- Willingness to enthusiastically support and prioritize requests from multiple work teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- Willing to work during early afternoon to late evening (around 10pm) supporting London trading hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with or knowledge of financial derivatives, risk evaluation and management techniques
- Strong preference for familiarity with trade capture and nomination / scheduling systems; must be proficient in Excel
