Overview The Data (Master & Transactional) Quality Lead will act as a subject matter expert and individual contributor, enforcing Enterprise Data Management standards and governance practices to ensure successful business transformations across SAP S/4HANA programs. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end data quality, migration validation, and reconciliation activities for both Master Data and Transactional Data throughout the migration lifecycle. This includes data readiness assessments, migration quality controls, pre- and post-load validations, defect management, and business sign-off support. The individual will work closely with Data Migration, Functional, Technical, and Business teams to ensure migrated data is complete, accurate, reconciled, and aligned with Global Template standards. Experience in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration programs, particularly in data validation and post-migration validation activities, is essential. Exposure to SNP CrystalBridge migration and validation solutions is highly desirable. Responsibilities Lead data quality and validation activities across SAP S/4HANA migration programs. Define and execute validation strategies for Master Data and Transactional Data throughout mock cycles, dress rehearsals, and production cutovers. Partner with Data Migration and Data Validation teams to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity of migrated data. Establish and execute reconciliation frameworks including record counts, financial balancing, business process validations, and exception reporting. Manage questions and provide clear direction to development and validation teams during solution build, testing, and deployment phases. Monitor data quality metrics, identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation activities. Work with Global teams to implement new validation patterns, controls, and automation opportunities. Maintain overall migration validation trackers, reporting dashboards, and conversion readiness statistics. Collaborate with business process teams (OTC, P2P, RTR, MTD, etc.) and data owners to validate business-critical data and transactions. Support cutover planning, mock migrations, dress rehearsals, hypercare, and post-go-live validation activities. Ensure global data standards, governance policies, and target-state data models are consistently adopted across deployments. Drive continuous improvement of migration validation processes, tools, and quality assurance methodologies. Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required. Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.. Minimum 10 years of experience in ERP transformation programs with a strong focus on Data Management, Data Migration, Data Quality, and Data Validation. Proven experience in at least 3 end-to-end SAP ERP/ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration programs. Extensive hands-on experience in migration validation and post-migration reconciliation of both Master Data and Transactional Data. Strong understanding of SAP data models including Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing domains. Experience defining and executing: Data Completeness Validations Data Reconciliation Processes Record Count Validations Financial Reconciliations Business Process Validations Data Quality Assessments Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise migration tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues. Experience collaborating with global business stakeholders, data owners, and functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
