Job Description

Visa is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the GFSS (“Global Finance Shared Services) team of Billing & Global Operating Certificates (collectively “Global Revenue Operations”) in the Bangalore office. Global Revenue Operations is responsible for managing revenue activities in Visa. This includes:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze contracts to ensure all information is accurate, complete, and policies are followed with proper documentation
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to align on Client Incentive funds
  • Coordinate with Legal team to ensure they have visibility to Client contracts for execution
  • Validate all project details and documentation in the system are correct prior to submission
  • Act as the SME for Contracts and provide guidance to the business and stakeholders when needed
  • Assist with revenue recognition by ensuring it’s done timely in our financial system
  • Govern controls around revenue recognition, expense and other accounting policy around Contracts
  • Provide strong and timely customer service to the business functions supported
  • Execute standard reporting and data sharing within the team and leadership•
  • Assist with all other ad-hoc projects and analyses and reports as needed
  • This role reports to the Finance Manager, Contracts, in the Bangalore office.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree and an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, CA/ICWA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree and more than 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong commitment to customer service
  • Challenge the status quo, be curious and bold to advocate for changes that bring value and eliminate manual tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
  • Team oriented, collaborative, motivated, adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues
  • Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel modules (e.g., Power Query) and Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
