Job description

This is an exciting, entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in Commercial Finance. You will sit within the finance team but work closely with our Digital and Marketing departments, helping to track performance, understand marketing spend, and support commercial decision-making.

Responsiblities:
Financial Planning & Support:
  • Assist the Commercial Finance team in developing financial models and updating rolling forecasts for the Digital and Marketing departments.
  • Support the budget-setting process for marketing spend, helping to gather data, input modelling assumptions, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Help the team track revenue growth and cost efficiency, learning how to highlight financial risks and opportunities within our digital channels.
Reporting and Financial Analysis:
  • Support the period-end process, helping to ensure marketing costs are accurately recorded and assisting with the delivery of management accounts for the Digital and Marketing functions.
  • Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports. With guidance, you will learn to look beyond the numbers to provide the ‘so-what’ analysis (e.g., understanding the ROI of a specific marketing campaign or digital initiative).
  • Assist in evaluating the financial impact of new digital initiatives and investments, helping to gather the data needed for stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Stakeholder support is a vital part of the role. Be commercial which will include partnering with your colleagues in finance and other functional areas
  • Support the development of business strategies that align with overall organizational goals
