<p><br><span style="">We are seeking a <strong>Head of Enterprise Data &amp; Analytics </strong>to provide end-to-end leadership of the initiative to modernize the company's enterprise technology foundation. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will be accountable for defining and scaling AMETEK’s <strong>Enterprise Data &amp; Intelligence Layer</strong>, including platform architecture, analytics delivery, AI enablement, and—critically—<strong>enterprise data governance and KPI standardization </strong>in a highly decentralized operating model. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">This leader will operate as the <strong>single point of accountability </strong>for the data and analytics program across the enterprise, partnering closely with ERP leadership, Finance, Commercial Excellence, Operations, and division IT leadership.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">AMETEK is undertaking a multi-year transformation to modernize its enterprise technology foundation, including <strong>ERP consolidation across SAP S/4HANA, Oracle and other platforms </strong>and the establishment of a <strong>centralized, governed enterprise data and analytics platform (“lakehouse”).</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="">How you will make an impact:</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="">Enterprise Data &amp; Analytics Strategy</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Own and execute AMETEK’s Enterprise Data &amp; Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with ERP consolidation and the company’s long term operating model</span></li> <li><span style="">Translate enterprise business priorities (growth, margin, working capital, portfolio optimization) into decision driven analytics use cases with measurable value</span></li> <li><span style="">Lead the progression from initial pilot to enterprise rollout across all divisions, including roadmap, phasing, and operating model definition</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="">Platform &amp; Architecture Leadership</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Serve as the owner of the enterprise lakehouse architecture, including: </span> <ul> <li><span style="">Data ingestion (ERP, CRM and other sources)</span></li> <li><span style="">Microsoft Fabric and Databricks platform strategy and validation</span></li> <li><span style="">Core medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) and semantic models</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="">Ensure analytics are decoupled from transactional systems, enabling cross ERP, cross division insight during and after ERP migrations</span></li> <li><span style="">Evaluate and govern the responsible use of AI / advanced analytics within the enterprise platform</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="">Data Governance &amp; Standards</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Establish and enforce an enterprise data governance model that prevents metric fragmentation while respecting appropriate BU autonomy. </span></li> <li><span style="">Define and institutionalize: </span> <ul> <li><span style="">Enterprise KPI definitions and ownership</span></li> <li><span style="">Customer, product, and end market taxonomies</span></li> <li><span style="">Data quality, certification, and approval processes</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="">Chair or co lead enterprise Data Governance Steering forums with senior functional leadership. </span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="">Analytics Delivery &amp; Value Realization</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Oversee delivery of enterprise and division level analytics assets, ensuring reuse of certified KPIs and consistent semantic models</span></li> <li><span style="">Ensure analytics investments possess tangible, quantified business cases tied to revenue growth, margin protection, cost reduction, and/or working capital improvements</span></li> <li><span style="">Track adoption, usage, and realized ROI across the enterprise</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="">Operating Model &amp; Leadership</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Build and lead a federated Enterprise Data &amp; Analytics organization, including: </span> <ul> <li><span style="">Central enterprise architecture, governance, and enablement teams</span></li> <li><span style="">Matrix leadership of divisional analytics contributors aligned to enterprise standards</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="">Define the internal FTE model and partner strategy required to scale enterprise analytics sustainably</span></li> <li><span style="">Act as a senior leader within the IT Leadership Team, influencing across functional and divisional boundaries.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="">What you will bring to the role:</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="">Required</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">15+ years of progressive leadership in <strong>enterprise data, analytics, or digital transformation </strong>roles</span></li> <li><span style="">Proven experience building and scaling <strong>enterprise data platforms </strong>in complex, decentralized organizations</span></li> <li><span style="">Hands on leadership experience with <strong>ERP-adjacent analytics </strong>(SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)</span></li> <li><span style="">Demonstrated ability to establish <strong>enterprise data governance and KPI standards </strong>across autonomous business units</span></li> <li><span style="">Strong executive communication skills, including board  and CEO level presentations and value articulation</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="">Preferred</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Experience in global industrial, manufacturing, or diversified portfolio companies</span></li> <li><span style="">Direct experience with <strong>Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services</strong>, or comparable cloud platforms</span></li> <li><span style="">Track record of translating analytics into <strong>measurable financial impact </strong>(revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction)</span></li> <li><span style="">Experience scaling analytics through <strong>federated or CoE based models</strong></span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="">Leadership Attributes</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="">Enterprise thinker with the ability to navigate <strong>federation vs. standardization trade offs</strong></span></li> <li><span style="">Strong bias to outcomes, not technology for technology’s sake</span></li> <li><span style="">Credible operator with both strategic vision and execution discipline</span></li> <li><span style="">Comfortable driving change in a decentralized business environments</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="">#LI-BM1</span></p> <p> </p>
