HR Data & Reporting Automation Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a curious and analytical intern to support the transformation of HR reporting across Constance Hotels & Resorts.

Working closely with the Group HR and IT teams, you will contribute to automating manual reporting processes, improving data quality and developing Power BI dashboards that provide meaningful workforce insights. This internship offers hands-on exposure to HR data, business intelligence and digital transformation within an international hospitality group.

Key Responsibilities

HR Reporting Automation

• Review existing HR reports across the Group and identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual processes.
• Support the development of accurate, timely and user-friendly automated reports.
• Help improve reporting efficiency and consistency across properties.

HR Data Quality & Integrity

• Work with HR, HRIS and IT teams to verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of HR data.
• Identify discrepancies and support data cleaning and validation activities.
• Contribute to the development of consistent reporting standards.

Power BI Dashboards & Analytics

• Assist in designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards for key HR and workforce indicators.
• Improve existing dashboards to make them more intuitive, interactive and decision oriented.
• Support the creation of data models, measures and visualisations.

HR Data Integration

• Work alongside IT to understand how data flows between HR systems and reporting platforms.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve data extraction, transformation and integration.
• Help reduce manual data handling and improve reporting reliability.

HR Analytics & Insights

• Analyse HR data to identify workforce trends, patterns and areas requiring attention.
• Contribute to moving HR reporting beyond descriptive figures towards meaningful insights.
• Prepare clear and actionable summaries to support management decision-making.

Knowledge Transfer & Sustainability

• Document automated reports, dashboards and reporting processes.
• Prepare user guides and support knowledge transfer to HR and IT teams.
• Contribute to a sustainable reporting environment that can be maintained beyond the internship.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Excel and an interest in data analysis and reporting automation.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, Power Query or other data visualisation tools would be an advantage.
• An interest in HR data, information systems and the use of technology to improve business processes.
• Analytical, curious and detail-oriented, with a willingness to learn and solve problems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with HR and IT teams.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working on projects with guidance and support.

Previous professional experience is not required. Academic projects, personal initiatives or exposure to data analytics tools will be considered an advantage.
