Overview The Insights product is a new offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enable our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e., private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals.  Visit Insights team biographies at <a href="https://www.guidepoint.com/insights/#team">https://www.guidepoint.com/insights/#team</a>. This position will work closely with the Insights team based in EMEA What You’ll Do:   Content Creation and Research Coverage: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Monitor a coverage universe of private companies within the TMT sector.  You will cover the sector across private and growth equity focus.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Track key industry trends, material news flows, earnings releases, investor presentations, research in key coverage markets.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify and maintain a robust pipeline of company and industry specific topics — generate original ideas for discussion, covering business updates, event studies, channel checks, hot topics and other investment narratives</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Create and moderate teleconferences on the pipeline featuring an expert from Guidepoint’s network with the goal of producing actionable insights for clients</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Review teleconference transcripts to ensure quality of content. Summarize key discussion points</li> </ul> Process Management: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure Guidepoint compliance policies and protocols are adhered to</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Exhibit ‘ownership’ for the call by vetting experts’ relevance to Insights Teleconferences and ensuring their profiles’ accuracy.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with research teams to identify and recruit additional industry experts to our Expert Network; Manage and further develop relationships with both experts and clients</li> </ul> What You Have: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">3+ years of work experience at a financial services or research firm with a focus on FinTech/Technology/Consumer/Utilities sector</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Understanding of the institutional buy-side / sell-side research and investing workflows</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; Effective time management and organizational skills </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team; must be willing to train and mentor junior professionals</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Fluent in English, both written and verbal. </li> </ul> What We Offer:   <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Competitive compensation</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Employee medical coverage</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Central office location</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Entrepreneurial environment, autonomy, and fast decisions</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Casual work environment</li> </ul> About Guidepoint: Guidepoint powers end-to-end research workflows for the world’s best research teams.
