Internship – Supply Chain Planning Data Analyst

As part of the Supply Chain Planning team, the intern will work under the guidance of an assigned mentor to identify and implement improvements to existing processes. The role will focus on data collection, analysis, visualization, and process optimization to improve productivity and efficiency within Infineon’s Smart Power Business Line. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Data Collection & Integration: Collect and consolidate data from various sources to support supply chain planning and business analysis.   Data Preparation & Quality: Clean, preprocess, and transform datasets while ensuring data accuracy, quality, and integrity.   Data Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and informative reports using data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.   Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance data visualization platforms to support operational and strategic decision-making.   Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze supply chain data and identify meaningful insights.   Trend & Pattern Identification: Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and potential improvement opportunities in business data.   Process Improvement: Support the identification and implementation of process enhancements to improve productivity and operational efficiency.   Internship Learning Outcomes: Business Operations Understanding: Develop an understanding of supply chain planning activities, business operations, and organizational goals.   Data-Driven Problem Solving: Learn to identify business opportunities and challenges through structured data analysis.   Analytics & Visualization Skills: Strengthen practical skills in data preparation, statistical analysis, machine learning, and dashboard development. Industry Exposure: Gain familiarity with relevant industry trends, analytical practices, and supply chain planning best practices. Stakeholder Communication: Develop the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Gain experience working with different teams to translate analytical findings into practical business improvements.   Process Optimization: Contribute to real-world projects focused on improving productivity, efficiency, and process performance. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Educational Background: On track to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau. Statistical & ML Knowledge: Understanding of machine learning and statistical modelling techniques. Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools and platforms for creating dashboards and reports. Analytical Thinking: Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate data insights clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
