Within the Data Platform Tribe in the Data team, you will join a cross-functional organization whose mission is to provide a reliable, secure, and scalable technological foundation for all of the Group’s data needs. This platform supports Accor’s data democratization strategy by ensuring simple, governed, and high-performance access to analytical tools and services on an international scale.

The role is part of a team dedicated to analytics solutions for business users, responsible for providing, managing, and evolving the tools that enable data access and the consumption of analytical products. The team plays a key role in structuring the Group’s analytics ecosystem, continuously improving the user experience, and supporting Business Analysts in mastering their tools.

Your mission:

You will be responsible for data accessibility and democratization solutions at Accor and will be in charge of:

1) Operationally leading the Feature Team named OPEN, including:

  • Participating in the recruitment and training of the Feature Team developers

  • Managing relationships with technical representatives from third-party solution providers

2) Designing, delivering & maintaining products within the OPEN Feature Team portfolio, including:

  • Collaborating with the Product Owner and the other two Feature Teams within the Data Platform Tribe to ensure technical consistency and full functional coverage across the stack

  • Designing products to measure DATA ROI, i.e., both the operational costs generated by the platform and the value created by the Data products published by other Data Tribes

  • Contributing to the evolution of the Data Portal in partnership with two other major French groups, which serves as the main entry point for all users to access our products

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and resolving incidents or anomalies occurring on the Feature Team’s products and solutions

  • Implementing technological watch to continuously enrich our modern data stack

3) Ensuring a high level of service for users by implementing:

  • A solution to automate our BI administration

  • Training sessions for internal DATA department teams

  • Clear onboarding paths to facilitate adoption by internal DATA department teams

4) Educating and supporting all users by:

  • Helping them define needs not covered by the current stack

  • Participating in the animation of the “Data Tech” community (sharing best practices, code knowledge, technology watch, etc.)

  • Raising awareness among stakeholders about DATA challenges and benefits

Qualifications

And you? 

  • Proven (senior) experience in enterprise-scale Data/BI environments, including implementing or evolving self-analytics solutions for a large user base

  • Experience in technical leadership: operational management of consultants or project teams, while remaining a strong individual contributor

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake (core of the platform) and solid knowledge of its ecosystem

  • Experience with major analytical tools such as Tableau, Dataiku, and orchestration tools (e.g., Astronomer/Airflow)

  • Advanced expertise in data modeling and designing robust analytical models

  • Experience in BI tool administration and industrialization, with an automation-oriented approach

  • Advanced SQL and database skills; experience in data transformation (dbt knowledge is a plus)

  • Good understanding of semantic layer concepts and modern analytics architecture

  • Hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Business Intelligence tools (reporting, pagination, environment structuring)

  • Excellent communication and pedagogical skills, with a strong user-service orientation

  • Technical lead mindset, capable of defending convictions and influencing diverse stakeholders
