We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions and a passion for innovation, quality and continuous improvement. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across data platforms, designing and delivering robust data provisioning, warehousing and integration solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the business. You will partner with stakeholders to understand strategic business objectives and translate them into practical, scalable and secure data solutions. As a trusted technical leader, you will take ownership of complex data engineering initiatives, ensuring best practice approaches are applied across architecture, data modelling, platform optimisation, data quality and governance. Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks, maintaining and optimising cloud-based data platforms, implementing data security controls, and enabling the re-use of enterprise data assets. You will also collaborate closely with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to operationalise advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
