We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Platform Engineering and Security team. This role is pivotal in shaping how we manage compliance and risk through data. You will play a key role in building robust data pipelines to support continuous control monitoring while using insights to drive strategic opportunities within Wise's secure and compliant framework.

What will you be working on?

Understanding Control Requirements & Continuous Monitoring: Partner closely with control owners across security domains (such as Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Data Governance, etc.) to translate abstract compliance and testing requirements into concrete, measurable metrics, SLAs, and continuous monitoring dashboards.
Compliance and Risk → Define KPIs: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine key performance indicators necessary for monitoring compliance and risk for our IT systems, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
Opportunity Identification → Insights: Utilise data to identify opportunities for enhancing compliance processes, mitigating risks, and driving higher efficiency throughout the organisation.
Qualifications
Technical Expectations:
Proficient in Python, with experience in automation and building data pipelines.
Strong expertise in working with tools like DBT and Airflow for ETL processes.
Skilled in using REST APIs to develop and manage data integrations.
Proficient in SQL and familiar with data visualization tools such as Looker, Superset, PowerBI, or Tableau.
Bonus: Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST), and the concept of continuous control monitoring (CCM).
