Overview Based in Bangalore, you'll help keep our Power BI reports and dashboards accurate, reliable and easy to use. Your work will help teams trust the data they use every day. You'll work closely with Power BI developers, technical business analysts and delivery managers to make sure each piece of work has clear success criteria and is tested properly. If you care about detail, clear process and getting data right, this role could be a good fit. How you'll make an impact How You’ll Make an Impact You'll test Power BI reports and dashboards from start to finish, so issues are found before they reach users. You'll check data sources, transformations and calculations against agreed requirements, then log defects and gaps clearly. You'll also help shape the way we work by writing test scripts, keeping test plans up to date and looking for sensible ways to use automation where it helps. Check reports and dashboards for data accuracy, consistency and ease of use. Work with developers and analysts to agree clear success criteria. Share test results in a simple and timely way. Help improve QA steps, test cases and process notes. Keep testing in line with data governance and security rules. About You Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: You've worked in QA, data analysis, BI or a similar role. You can test report outputs against source data and business rules. You write SQL to check, join and compare data. You understand how to build clear, easy to use visual reports. You've used Azure DevOps in an Agile team. You can work well with people in different locations and time zones. You can explain problems, test results and next steps in clear, simple language. You follow data security and governance steps in your work. You're open to using automated testing tools, or learning them if needed. About you Eligibility Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role Master's degree is preferred MS Power BI certification preferred but not required Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role Additional Information At Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
