Master Data Administrator – Finance

As Master Data Administrator, you will be responsible for the operational stewardship and daily maintenance of financially relevant master data, ensuring its consistency, completeness and timely updates across multiple systems.
You will execute master data processes in line with business priorities, internal guidelines and master data best practices, supporting the efficient execution of finance and business processes. Playing a crucial role in the day-to-day management of critical foundational master data, you will ensure alignment with defined rules and controls, perform verification activities, support users and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and business projects.
How will you make an impact?
As part of Group Finance and based in Bellevue, your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following key areas:
Master Data Stewardship and Controls
- Maintain financial master data (e.g. boutiques, investment projects, profit centers, chart of accounts and key translation tables) in SAP SEM and SAP ERP
- Coordinate processes and maintain legal entity master data for consistency across financial, corporate, contract, and treasury systems.
- Manage the Group article hierarchy in ERP, aligning Brand requirements with Group Finance guidelines.
- Maintain hierarchy, coordinate changes, and validate financially relevant article master data.
- For all master data domains, execute controls for integrity, security, and compliance, as well as operate/maintain processes and tools, and create documentation.
Master Data Quality Management
- Conduct regular data audits and reconciliation to ensure master data consistency, accuracy, and compliance across systems.
- Support implementation and maintenance of data quality processes and tools with stakeholders.
- Apply and support data governance policies for master data objects, focusing on cross-system data quality standards.
Continuous Improvement and Business Support
- Identify and support implementation of master data process and tool enhancements.
- Provide operational input for master data system enhancements and new functionalities.
- Act as an operational reference in business projects for master data, contributing to system implementations and improvements.
- Serve as a point of contact for master data queries, guiding users and troubleshooting issues.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

- Ability to work across different levels of the organization and various functional teams, facilitating communication between end users and regional counterparts.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when working with complex data sets.
- Practical problem-solving for operational data issues and user support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support users, clarify requests and coordinate operational master data activities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Education, experience and core competencies
- Master of Science in Finance or similar field with data science and economics background
- 3 years’ experience in finance data analysis, with exposure to multiple systems, within a multinational Luxury company
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, using BI tools (PBI, SAC, Looker, etc.)
- Proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules
- Expert in Excel
- Proficient in basic data checks, reporting extracts and operational follow-up tools, including PBI, Google Looker or similar.
- Familiar with data governance policies and procedures, with the ability to apply defined rules in daily activities.
- Familiar with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI prompting and basic automation concepts.
- Proficiency in French and English is required
