Procurement Analyst - Automation & Digital Solutions

Job Description

As a Procurement Analyst - Automation & Digital Solutions, you will be part of the Global Procurement team, driving digitalization and process transformation initiatives. You will work closely with procurement professionals, business stakeholders, and IT teams to develop technology-enabled solutions that automate manual processes, improve data quality, and generate actionable insights.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python and Azure services.
• Own the Procurement data landscape, including the invoice-level categorisation pipeline, SpendCube, data models and related analytical products
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support procurement decision-making.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and validation activities across procurement datasets.
• Continuously improve the pipeline, categorisation model, data quality controls and analytical capabilities based on evolving Procurement needs.
• Collaborate with procurement category managers and operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure solution reliability, security, and compliance with organisational standards.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts and innovation initiatives leveraging AI and cloud technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in automation, analytics, software development, or digital transformation roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, including data processing, automation, and API integration.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure AI Services, Azure Storage, or related cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience in developing document processing or intelligent automation solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and data modelling concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Python development and automation scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and related services.
• Understanding of REST APIs, data integration, and workflow automation.
• Advanced Power BI and SQL skills.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured document data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
