For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200.00 - $143,900.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement. Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience with software development lifecycles, Agile delivery, testing practices, and production support
  • Strong requirements-gathering, process-mapping, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable technical deliverables
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data models, and SQL
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system-to-system integrations

  • Partner with product managers to define priorities, maintain the product backlog, and support roadmap planning
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and integration teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood
  • Use SQL and other data analysis tools to investigate issues, validate requirements, and reconcile data
  • Assist with API analysis and testing using tools such as Postman, including reviewing responses and payloads
  • Define test scenarios and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production validation
  • Investigate production issues, identify root causes, assess business impact, and coordinate resolution across technical and business teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives
