Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchasing and Procurement Management
Request quotations from suppliers.
Evaluate and compare pricing, quality, and delivery lead times.
Create purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders, including intercompany purchases from other TE sites.
Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and committed delivery dates.
2. Inventory Control
Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels for tools and consumables.
Analyze consumption trends to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
Coordinate inventory replenishment activities.
Review and support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
3. Production and Maintenance Support
Ensure the availability of tools and consumables required for production operations.
Manage urgent purchases to prevent production downtime.
Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams regarding special tooling and equipment requirements.
4. Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Identify cost reduction opportunities.
Standardize tools and consumables to reduce inventory complexity and optimize stock levels.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
Cost savings generated
On-time deliveries
Tool Crib service level
Inventory value

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related areas.
Technical Knowledge
- Advanced SAP knowledge (preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills:
- Excel
