Job description

As a Transaction Processing Specialist in Wholesale Payments Operations, you provide operational support to ensure client transactions are completed on time and accurately. You resolve exceptions and client inquiries, applying analytical rigor and a strong control mindset to identify issues and reduce risk. You provide subject matter expertise and contribute to regulatory reporting, remediation activities, and ongoing process improvement and automation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned transaction processing tasks to support accurate, timely client outcomes
- Ensure all aspects of transaction management are completed within required deadlines
- Resolve exceptions and client inquiries with clear communication and strong attention to detail
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal partners and clients on transaction-related processes
- Lead process improvement and automation efforts that reduce manual effort and improve controls
- Manage assigned work independently with little or no supervision
- Identify issues and risks that could impact process performance or the organization
- Support daily regulatory reporting tasks and remediation activities as required
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrate understanding of the financial services industry, products, and processes
- Apply strong analytical skills to review work for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate clearly using strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Maintain close attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Show a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for outcomes
- Deliver excellent client focus and customer care working practices
- Influence outcomes through effective communication, collaboration, and day-to-day interactions
- Use strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Bring experience in middle- or back-office operations
- Show exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence.
