Regional BI Referent - Western Europe

Job Description

Reporting to the Western Europe IT Manager, you will be working closely with the Regional, Group Data, Digital & Tech teams, and the users across 11 companies in Western Europe.

Missions :

• Empowering BI Users. Provide training, active support and assistance to the BI users by:
  • Creating, animating and leading the community of BI Key Users,
  • Providing them with regular training and technical assistance,
  • Promoting the BI through examples of existing reports,
  • Analyzing reporting needs and proposing the appropriate approach (using existing report or creating an ad hoc report),
  • Detecting any opportunity to automate reports using BI tools,
  • Supporting the creation, testing, and documentation of new reports, sharing them with other regional and Business Units BI referents,
  • Participating in the development of data models under the supervision of the Group BI team.
• Optimizing BI Reporting portfolio :
  • Understand the existing BI reports of the Group BI catalogue,
  • Investigate how these reports can be used in the Region,
  • Adapt them to local needs as necessary.
• Collaborating on Group Projects :
• • Actively participate in Group projects related to business intelligence.

Qualifications

Experience :

• Minimum 5+ years as a data analyst or in a BI-related role

Education :

• Master's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification

Competences :

• Technical Expertise:
  • Solid background as a data analyst, with knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and MS Power BI (essential).
  • Data modeling skills (SAP Datasphere, Snowflake Data Cloud).
  • Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Data model (essential).
• Soft Skills:
  • A “good ear”, a very good communication skill.
  • Analytical and synthesis ability, very structured mindset.
  • Ability to lead and influence peers without direct authority.
  • A strong willingness to assist and support.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Fluency in English.
  • French or German is a plus.
