Job description

Your role:

  • Processing Intercompany (Allied) transactions and reconciliations between parties;

  • Preparing and checking intercompany statements;

  • Ensuring that all Allied (Intercompany) transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner;

  • Monitoring Intercompany processes like Idoc and ICR processes;

  • Analyzing and resolving intercompany imbalances; ensuring no variances in ICP report above threshold

  • Tracking aged items, variances and fixing them; escalating as needed;

  • Adhering to a strict closing schedule;

  • Reconciling general ledger accounts;

  • Assisting in and coordination of audit processes by providing/collecting requested documentation and additional explanation;

  • Working fully independently;

  • Develop and maintain department accounting procedures and manuals (SOPs);

  • Assist in special projects and activities defined by business and implemented by GBS, as assigned;

  • Recognize continuous improvement areas within the process and/or support their implementation;

  • Solving complex problems and coaching others;

  • Building knowledge of the organization; acting as resource of knowledge for colleagues;

  • Build and keep good relationship  within own team and with business partners;

  • Fulfilling of team leaders / managers instructions and requests;

Your background:

  • Experience in accounting 3+ years

  • Working experience in AP or AR

  • University degree in Finance

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written skills

  • English language proficiency

  • SAP/Oracle knowledge would be an asset

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
